With the Tri-Cities rapidly growing Hispanic population, Dr. Dallas Dobson saw the need for a church where this group could regularly hear the Gospel message in the Spanish language.   William Yant was called to begin the Spanish Ministry of Riverview Baptist Church, Iglesia Bautista, de Riverview.  Under Pastor Yant's leadership the ministry began to grow.   Pastor Manuel Haro was called to assist Pastor Yant and when  Pastor Yant retired to "do the work of an evangelist" Manuel Haro was appointed the Spanish pastor.   He has been serving since 2001 and the Spanish ministry has been thriving under his capable leadership.   This ministry now reaches over 700 weekly and is one of the largest Fundamental Baptist Spanish ministries in the country.
