Riverview Baptist
Christian School is as ministry of Riverview Baptist Church. We
are a church school, not just a private school. Our enrollment is
limited to members of Riverview Baptist Church or Baptist Churches of
like conviction in the local area.
Beginning in K-3 and K-4, children are taught to read and develop skills necessary for our K-5 program. Most children come out of K-5 reading and doing simple math work. Abeka Curriculum is used in the K-3 through K-5 program. Loving care and personal touch are high on the list of qualities of the staff for the "little ones". First grade through 7th grade students work in the ACE program. This proven curriculum enables a student to progress at his or her own pace. Every child at Riverview Baptist Christian School is in a "specially designed" program for them. PE, music, band and Bible teaching round out their education. 8th grade thru 12th grade students use a variety of curriculums. ACE, Abeka, Saxon Math and other publishers make the high school years unique here at Riverview Baptist Christian School. Each teacher has their bachelor's degree (or it's equivalent). While Riverview Baptist Christian School is a ministry of Riverview Baptist Church and therefore not "state approved", Riverview Baptist Christian School strives to meet or exceed requirements laid out on the local and state level.
